“Unfortunately, today’s MRI (Thursday 17 November) shows us that the development is not as favorable as we had anticipated and we regret to announce Sadio’s withdrawal from the World Cup”said the doctor of selection, Manuel Afonso, quoted on Senegal’s Twitter account.
