The last seconds of the Fougeres victory this Friday in the French Basketball Trophy Cup, as if you were: this is what LSEI-Basketball Breton Elite and Pays de Fougeres Basket are projecting on their respective Facebook pages.
five minutes of total euphoria
Five seconds (barely) for Maxime Choplin, with one last shot, to send Fougères to heaven, and five minutes of total excitement with the players, managers and seven hundred spectators at the Accordhotel Arena in Bercy.
To find here:
Images that show the intensity of the end of the match, the protagonist of which was the Fougereis player Maxime Choplin. A Choplin who makes this success a team win:
I congratulate all the boys. We started the match very well, then we lifted and lowered the leg. With tactical choices from Mathieu in the second half, we managed to come back to this unbearable end to the match. It falls in our favor on the detail but respect to this Toulouse team. This is more than the team of N3, congrats to them.
Fogères coach Mathieu Lemercier shared this sentiment:
Two teams are needed to make the grand finale. I don’t know if it was the grand finale or not but it was out of breath compared to the intensity and suspense. I think it was very appreciable to the public. To finally be in front is a real salvation.
“A Blue Tide in the Room”
Mathieu Lemercier continues:
“Initially this seven-figure barrier was not easy psychologically. We managed it well. In the second quarter, we were level but it looked like we rushed. In the second half, his choice of taking his playmaker into the box paid off. It was a real Mano Mano, not always pretty but intense. ,
Maxime Choplin also greeted the Breton public: “We felt a blue tide in the room, it was incredible what the leaders, the participants, the public had managed to do”.
